WHAT IS THE PUNCH ROOM?

 

The Punch Room is our private event space here at the bar.  Located upstairs, it is suitable for up to 40 guests and comes with your own server.  Whats more, you are free to decorate the room however you wish (but please no confetti or coloured plastic table scatter things) and even cater your event if you wish!  To date, we have hosted birthday parties, surprise celebrations, wedding parties and more.  

 

FAQs:

 

Q. Is there a fee to hire the room?

A. The Punch Room is available for a flat hire fee of 300GBP with a minimum of 20 guests.

 

Q. Do I need to leave a deposit?

A. We ask for a 200GBP holding deposit (refundable if the room is cancelled with fair warning).  The 200GBP goes towards the hire fee on the night.

 

Q. Can we play our own music?

A. Yes! We have a separate sound system in The Punch Room which you are free to hook up to an iPad or similar device.

 

Q. Can we order cocktails in The Punch Room?

A. Yes!  You have your own waiter who takes orders and sends them to the bar downstairs.  We then bring those up to you when ready.  Nice.

 

Q. What does it look like?

A. There are some photos of The Punch Room below and you are free to have a tour of the space any night of the week that we are open.  Simply pop along and ask to see the room and we'll happily show you around!

 

Q. What are our options with food?

A. You're welcome to cater your own event or we can offer a canape package in conjunction with Dylan's The King's Arms.  Full details can be found here: Punch Room Canape Package
